The Cutting Edge
Went ice skating with a group of friends tonight. Let me see, where do I start and how much do I share? Haha, it was alot of fun and I didn't fall on my behind at all. My mom paid for us to take skating lessons for a few summers back when we still lived in Houston during the 80's. Hmmmm.....that would be around the second grade I suppose? Anyways, I was never that great and hadn't touched the ice in all the years since those instructional days. By the end of the evening I didn't have to constantly grasp the wall anymore. =)
Imagine a crippled jet liner rumbling within a continuous holding pattern. Then focus in on the smaller support craft hovering around it to ensure that a potential crash wouldn't be unnoticed.
LIB Note: That would be Eek and CK....I almost took them both out with one swoop.
Finally, think of all the unassociated vessels that just routinely passed up the jetliner and left it in their wake. Some of them even doing axels and spins.
Yup. Only room for improvement I suppose.

Back and On the Go Again
*thud*
Plane touches down at Oakland International Airport.
People rise and scramble to collect their belongings.
Man behind me reaches out and pops open the overhead compartment directly above.....
*crack*
A searing heat races down my skull as the metal cane belonging to the elderly woman sitting to my immediate right falls out and hits me.
Man: Oh, I'm so sorry are you ok?
Elderly Woman: Son, I'm so sorry are you hurt?
Me: *rubbing the bruise*
Me: Nah, it's ok....no sweat
Man: Hey, I'm really sorry.....
Me: Really, it's not that bad....everything is cool
Elderly Woman: *look of concern*
Me: Really, the Lord gave me a super hard head so I'll be fine
Elderly Woman: *leans over and whispers*
Elderly Woman: And I'm glad that he made you that way too.....
Me: =)
Just got back and am about to head out to work. I tell ya what, that was one of the most peaceful flights that I've ever had the pleasure of returning on. A part of me is just relieved to be back in the bay area. Lots to muse about when time affords itself down the line. It's good to be back.....
That bay bridge view was so magnificent today. Killer.
